Account Deletion

This page explains how account and data deletion requests are submitted for the PickupTime (pickuptime.io) ("PickupTime") driver application and platform, and which data is deleted. It is published in line with the account deletion transparency requirements of the app stores (Google Play and App Store).

1. Scope

The driver application does not use a conventional user account; a driver record operates through a device pairing (device token) created by the operator. Your deletion request covers all personal data linked to that record. Deletion of operator (business) accounts is governed by the Data Processing Addendum (DPA) upon termination of the subscription.

2. Which Data Is Deleted?

When your deletion request is confirmed, the following data is permanently deleted:

  • Driver record: name, phone number and vehicle assignment details.
  • Device token: the record pairing your device with the operator's fleet; the token is invalidated immediately and location transmission from your device ceases.
  • Location history: all GPS location points recorded during active trips.
  • Message records: operational messages and notification records exchanged through the driver interface.

Statistics that have been anonymised so that they can no longer be linked to you (for example, total fleet kilometres) do not constitute personal data and are not covered by deletion. Records that must be retained under tax and commercial legislation are kept only for the period required by the relevant obligation and are not processed for any other purpose.

3. How to Submit a Deletion Request

There are two ways:

  • In the app: use the session reset function in the driver application. This removes the record from your device and initiates the revocation of the device token. You may then contact your operator or us for permanent deletion.
  • By email: send an email with the subject "Account Deletion Request" to business@pickuptime.io. Including your registered name and your vehicle's plate number in the request helps us verify the pairing faster.

The data controller for driver data is the operator that registered you on the platform; requests received directly by us are also forwarded to the relevant operator without delay and handled jointly.

4. Deletion Timeline Commitment

Verified deletion requests are fulfilled within 30 days at the latest from receipt; the data listed above is permanently deleted from all systems and backups or irreversibly anonymised. You will be notified of the outcome through the channel you used for your request.
